Definitely one of the best locations in the DFW with the Shops with , Stonebriar Mall, Preston Road, and in close proximity to North Dallas, Allen, Frisco, etc.

The maintenance people are always on time and they do a great job with any issues I may have. The area contains a lot of diverse people who are all really nice, and it is very convenient to live near the shops. The only downside is the addition of the reserved parking spaces. My building already has a reserved area for all the people that live there. Now, some of those spaces are additionally reserved for people who pay, and they're not even all used. These are the best spots and they leave some of us who live on a lower floor to have to park higher because there aren't enough spaces and not all of the reserved spaces are utilized.

There are scarcely enough parking spaces as it is unless you park on the roof level which feels unsafe. In addition, lighting is often out so we are walking alone in the dark on upper, lonely levels. No parking spot, even on upper levels, is a far walk to our apartment but the safety factor is a problem. Grabbing 14 spots per floor so you can charge to park in the safe, lighted area near the door--you're charging for safety. In addition, the hallways haven't been cleaned in weeks. Dust and dirt is building up along the baseboards and it takes days for anyone to pick up the easily seen debris like cans and paper and spills don't seem to be addressed at all. Prior to the new ownership, the hallways were always well-maintained. We love our apartment and the quality of it and enjoy living in a place that allows all breeds of dogs. We don't have a dog, but we like seeing them about the property. The landscaping is very nice. For maintenance, someone managed to totally destroy the door on one of our trash chutes and this was repaired immediately, which is greatly appreciated. Our two complaints are charging for parking spaces within our assigned garage and no longer routinely cleaning the hallways. Other that that, we really like where we live.

The frat parties at the pool and volleyball court in summer. There's lots of noise, music blasting, beer drinking, and a mess of bottles and cans on Sunday mornings. In the cabanas, there's people in them even late at night, doing whatever. 2. The garbage dumpsters are picked up starting at 7am and the noise echo is ear shattering. I'm sure it exceeds the maximum decibel levels that cause hearing damage

Lots of floorpans to pick from and the grounds are top notch My only issue is the parking garage lights are mostly out and makes it very dark at night and the online rent does always say 0 due until the actual 1st of the month. Other than that this place is great Yes, a tad higher on the price but you pay for a nice living area AND location. LOVE being able to walk to everything from Coffee shops to a ton of bars restaurants and even a movie theater. There is something for everyone

May have to move out unless we can get an inner courtyard. Management has launched an ill conceived plan to charge for premium parking spaces near doors. So far the residents have conveyed a big bug off to management and continue to park in the community spaces. We pay market rates for our apartments. This nickel and dime stuff is lame and Lincoln Properties and the owners should be ashamed. Parkside has no breed restrictions including aggressive breeds like Pit Bulls, Rotweilers, Dobermans and others. My small dog was attacked by a Pit Bull 1 year ago, but I fought him off. Its great that Parkside is dog friendly, but their liberal policy on aggressive breeds makes Parkside relatively unsafe for small dog breeds and not ideal for families with small children.

The grounds are kept up well and generally in great shape. There are a lot of dogs , but this is one of the few places around Plano/Frisco that will take dogs. They generally do a great job of keeping the area clean and the residents (most) of them clean up after their dogs.

The neighborhood is quite nice and maintained well. Shops at legacy is always a big attraction. place is safe and people ehre and big dog enthusiasts. So if you are one, you will feel very welcome
